Bleed valves let air out of a hot-water radiator. Vacuum breakers allow air into a steam one.
Our design-registered bleed valves and vacuum breakers are precision-milled from solid brass.
Quarter-inch (13mm) and eighth-inch (9mm) threads are suitable for use with a wide range of cast iron radiators. Half-inch (21mm) bleed valves are used with most steel multicolumn radiators. Vacuum breakers are used with thermostatically-controlled steam radiators on positive pressure systems.
