Role: Dispatches Assistant

  • $37,500 a year 
  • $600 per month health insurance allowance (subject to a 3 month probationary period)
  • 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday 
  • Small and passionate team 
  • Rapidly growing startup

Day-to-day tasks will include: 

  • Packing and wrapping pallets 
  • Packaging and shipping orders with USPS 
  • General cleaning and maintenance of office and workspace 
  • Delivering goods to subcontractors 
  • Assembling radiators at customers’ homes and helping with on-site issues
  • Keeping inventory neat and organized
  • Helping to keep inventory count accurate, with inventory checks every 6 months 

Castrads North America is a startup offshoot of Castrads Ltd, Britain’s leading manufacturer of high-end radiators. Castrads is a rapidly expanding company with an enthusiastic and open-minded team of sixty people across our manufacturing facility in Manchester, England, our warehouse in Brooklyn and shops in London and Manhattan. We want talented, conscientious individuals to help us build a sustainable and global business. 

At Castrads North America, our small team of 3 is looking for someone to help at our warehouse in the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park. The position will primarily be in the warehouse, but each day will look different, with some spent at job sites or making deliveries.  Our US operation is growing quickly, and we’re looking for someone who is willing to adapt to the changing needs of the business. Applicants must: 

  • Have a driver’s license 
  • Be able to lift heavy goods 
  • Feel comfortable using tools and solving practical problems
