How are radiators delivered within the UK?
Radiator orders are dispatched twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for delivery Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. The radiators travel overnight to a hub and then a local haulier delivers them to you. The radiators are delivered on a vehicle with a tail lift so the driver can unload the pallet without assistance. The driver uses a pallet truck to wheel the pallet as close as possible to your front door. Please note that obstacles such as a gravel drive or steps up from the pavement will determine the point of delivery. that if there are obstacles such as ... the driver will deliver the pallet to this point and you will be responsible for transporting it further.
Please note that deliveries to Northern Scotland will take 2-3 days.
Your radiators will arrive on a pallet wrapped in black plastic. Inside is a grey plastic bag with wall stays, valves, touch up paint etc. Please do check all the items you ordered are present, including the contents of the grey plastic bag, before accepting the delivery. You will need someone to help you take your radiators into the house, but do not attempt to carry the whole pallet. Instead, lift each radiator into an upright position and carry them individually as per the instructions posted with the invoice. (Link)
For radiators ordered from Rads To Go or stated as 'ready to ship', delivery will normally be less than 7 days. For radiators that require spraying, allow 14 and for powder coat, 28 days. These times are subject to confirmation when placing your order.
Castrads will always call in advance to agree a delivery date that is convenient for you. We will never dispatch radiators without first having agreed a suitable delivery date with the recipient.
