About Castrads

We know about traditional radiators

Castrads is one of the UK's leading cast iron radiator suppliers. As one of only a very few direct importers of traditional and modern reproduction radiators, buying traditional cast iron radiators from Castrads ensures there's no middle man to contend with. It means more than this though. It means your quality cast iron radiators are guaranteed against all defects for 10 years. It means that Castrads knows all about radiators and all about the best choice to suit your home.

And because Castrads has its own dedicated engineers and finishing technicians, you can be sure your cast iron radiator will receive only the most careful attention before, during and after it's been dropped off at your house via next day delivery just days after you place your order. With Castrads, you can rest assured that your radiators will continue to be a design centrepiece as well as an integral part of your central heating for many decades to come.

History

In 2005, Chris Baylis, founder of Castrads had just sold a reclamation company that specialised in reclaimed cast iron radiators and other recycled building supplies. Retirement didn't suit the radiator man, so he ordered a few hundred tonnes of cast iron radiators, rented some land from the local farmer and began trading under the name Castrads from Hilltop Farm, just a short drive from Manchester, Stockport or Sheffield.

Coming up to five years later and Castrads is one of the UK's largest and most experienced purveyors of traditional cast iron radiators. Castrads' on site engineers and finishing technicians take great pride in assembling and painting the finest quality traditional, school, column and ornate cast iron radiators.

In addition to Hilltop Farm HQ near Cheadle, Castrads today has showroms in Wimbledon, South London and Rugby, Warwickshire. The company is rapidly expanding across Europe and North America. We want to heat the world with traditional cast iron radiators, with plans underway to form a partnership with stockists in Finland, France, Germany and many more.
